TAKEDA GLOBAL HEADQUARTERS
Nihonbashi has continuously fostered Japanese economic and cultural development as the vibrant center of Edo to present day Tokyo.
Nihon Sekkei has long been involved in the regeneration and development of the Nihonbashi area. Recently, TAKEDA GLOBAL HEADQUARTERS; the core facility for the area completed the Redevelopment Project for Nihonbashi Muromachi Higashi District. Takeda Pharmaceutical Company has been associated with the site in Nihonbashi Honcho as its headquarters since the Meiji era. We envisioned a frameworks, conducive to innovation necessary for a global pharmaceutical company to advance into the future, while establishing a symbiosis with the townscape and community. The keyword of our concept is communication.
Vertical zoning allows clear approaches to each zone; public entrance on the 1st floor, global headquarters lobby on 4th floor, visitor reception/meeting rooms on 4th to 6th floors, work spaces occupy the 7th floor and above. Elevator halls are designed for chatting to promote informal communications for better work environment.
