NHK Osaka Broadcasting Center, NHK Osaka Hall, Osaka Museum of History
The NHK Osaka Broadcasting Station was moved to the old site of the Central Gymnasium and integrated with Osaka Museum of History as a part of the realization of the "Conceptual Scheme for Integration of Naniwa Palace Site and Osaka Castle Park".
The vestiges of the ancient Naniwa Palace, considered to be the historical roots of Osaka, have been confirmed.
The preservation and utilization of the ruins was an objective along with the provision for the functional requirements for both the new NHK Osaka Broadcasting Station and the Osaka Museum of History in an organically integrated cultural symbol, open to all the people of Osaka, connecting its past with the future.
