Iwakitaira Keirin Velodrome
Velodromes are places for public operated legal gambling, which have been supported by a small cadre of enthusiasts, but are not a facility familiar to the average person.
The Fukushima velodrome is famous as the proving grounds for numerous Olympic athletes. Specially formed pre-cast concrete corner banks, Main Spectator stand with protruding seating, interior viewing decks and public square were realized to create a new style of engaged spectatorship.
The back stand has been designed for multi-purpose use and innovative exterior with landscaping planted with fauna similar to local scrub forests are some of the means to move closer to the general public and expand the fan base.
