San Felipe Hospital

"This project is for San Felipe Hospital, the oldest hospital in Honduras, established in1882 in the capital region of Tegucigalpa. It is a construction plan for an additional outpatient ward to supplement tertiary medical care.
We have adopted traditional design elements such as window frames with Spanish reliefs and verandas as there are some historic structures to be preserved within the site. Considering the climate in Latin America, we also tried to create a comfortable building environment utilizing natural ventilation and lighting by creating waiting space surrounding a courtyard. "
