Jose Nieborowsky Hospital

We proposed a comfortable, sustainable building and environmental measures for the surrounding areas that considered the scale of medical care in Nicaragua and suited the country's natural environment.
As the construction site had a 6 metre height difference, we planned to build a separate building for each function of the hospital to minimize soil excavation. We also adopted the traditional "patio style" that accommodates natural ventilation, lighting and customs in the country.
Primarily, we used materials that are available in Nicaragua so that future maintenance can be easily carried out using domestic resources.
