Hue Central Hospital (JICA)
Hue Central Hospital, the top referral hospital in central Vietnam, was renovated to improve healthcare services in the region. The following three direct effects were expected from the implementation of this project; (1) provision of high-quality medical services, (2) service efficiency improvement through the centralization of central medical care functions and (3) reduction of waiting times for admission through the improvement of the bed occupancy rates. A 7 storied clinic building (part of which is used for wards) and a 3 storied outpatient clinic building were planned to be built.
